Case No. 2426:  According to the death report, Mr. Yong Kwee Min passed away on 20 October 2026 at 11:07 a.m. due to heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Mr. Yong, who previously worked as a market hawker, had one of his legs amputated two years ago due to a bacterial infection caused by diabetes. Since then, his health has continued to deteriorate. He also suffered from multiple illnesses, including blindness, heart disease, kidney disease and high blood pressure. As a result, he was no longer able to work, making life increasingly difficult for him and his family.

Before his passing, he was cared for in turns by his 44-year-old wife, Ms. Tan Poh Fei, and his aunt, who is in her seventies. His passing has now left behind his grieving wife, their 13-year-old daughter who is still attending school, and his elderly aunt.

Ms. Tan works in a hotel and earns a modest income. The family of four had already been struggling to make ends meet on her income alone. Now, with the additional burden of her husband's funeral expenses, she is simply unable to cope financially.

Feeling helpless and overwhelmed, Ms. Tan has entrusted us to assist in her husband's funeral arrangements, hoping to give him a dignified and respectful farewell.

Death is an inevitable part of life. However, for financially disadvantaged families, funeral expenses following the loss of a loved one can become an overwhelming burden that is difficult to overcome.

We will provide full assistance with Mr. Yong's final arrangements, including the body transfer, coffin sponsorship, memorial ceremony, and cremation. This support aims to ease the heavy financial burden on the family so that they do not have to face it alone while grieving their loss.

We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted people to come forward and offer their support. If you wish to sponsor the full funeral expenses, please contact the social worker for further details. Thank you.

We will hold a Buddhist memorial service for the deceased on Thursday, 22 October, at Hall H of the Kwong Tong Funeral Parlour, Kuala Lumpur. The cremation will be held on Friday, 23 October, and the family will make arrangements for the placement of his ashes.
