Ms. Chong Sue Mei’s pelvic mass has rapidly increased in size, and her only hope is to undergo surgery as soon as possible so that she can regain her health, return to work, and rebuild her life. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted people to donate RM25,000 for the removal of the mass and help her overcome this difficult time.
Case No. 2411: Faced with her sudden illness, 48-year-old Chong Sue Mei feels helpless. At first, she did not dare to tell her father, who is her only family and whom she depends on, about her condition. She could only bear the burden silently on her own. It was only when she confided in a social worker that she could no longer hold back her tears—she was worried about her own health, but even more concerned about who would take care of her father if something happened to her.

Recently, Chong Sue Mei visited a nearby clinic after experiencing frequent dizziness. Due to limited facilities, the doctor only detected that she was anemic and noticed a mass of approximately 17 cm in her abdomen. She was therefore advised to go to a hospital for further examination as soon as possible.
The examination results were shocking—the pelvic/adnexal mass was growing at an alarming rate. Within just three months, it had increased from 17 cm to 26.6 cm and had begun pressing against her stomach, causing a series of symptoms including abdominal pain, frequent urination, difficulty sleeping, poor appetite, nausea, constipation, shortness of breath, lower back pain and dizziness.
The doctor strongly advised her to undergo surgery to remove the mass as soon as possible and have the removed tissue sent for testing to determine the nature of the abnormality. This is to prevent the mass from continuing to grow and potentially rupturing, causing infection to other organs or developing into cancer.

After her divorce, Chong Sue Mei has been living with her father at a friend’s home. In the past, she earned a living by helping out at a hawker stall. However, after falling ill, she was no longer able to continue working and lost her source of income, leaving her dependent on financial assistance from friends. Faced with the substantial cost of surgery, she is unable to bear the expenses on her own and has no choice but to seek help from the Da Ai Community Crowdfunding Platform.
Her only hope is to successfully undergo the surgery, regain her health, return to work and support herself again, so that she can continue taking care of her father. As she spoke, tears of helplessness streamed down her face.
