A baby boy, only 3 months old, has already endured multiple serious health challenges since entering this world. He is now suffering from severe fluid accumulation in his lungs, which requires urgent treatment. Case No. 2253:He is a Myanmar-born baby named Suan Sian Muang. At birth, he was diagnosed with anal atresia and ventricular septal defect. Thankfully, with the doctors’ efforts, the anal atresia has been successfully corrected through surgery. However, while the heart condition remains, he is now facing another critical complication—fluid in the lungs—and has been admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit.
[Silent Pain, Expressed Through Endless Crying]
Due to discomfort in his lungs, Suan Sian Muang struggles even to sleep peacefully. Unable to speak, he can only cry continuously. Each cry was a desperate call for help.
His parents stay by his bedside, trying their best to soothe him—offering a pacifier, gently patting his chest, and whispering comforting words—but nothing seems to ease his distress. The real source of his suffering lies within his body, something his parents cannot take away despite their deep love and concern.

Occasionally, the baby cries himself to sleep from exhaustion. His mother holds him tightly, afraid to put him down, fearing he may wake again in discomfort. These brief moments of silence are not reassuring but the most heartbreaking for her. She knows that treatment cannot be delayed any longer, yet the family can no longer afford it.
The father, Thawng Za Khup (38 years old), is currently unemployed, while the mother, Pau Thawn Cing (38 years old), is a homemaker. The family of three survives on the small savings accumulated from the father’s previous employment. However, the earlier surgery has severely depleted their finances. They are now in a dire situation and simply cannot afford further treatment. With no other options, they have turned to us for help, hoping for the generosity of the public to give their child a chance at recovery.
