FUNDRAISING CASE 2236 NUR SYIFA AULIYA BINTI KHAIRUL AZMEER

She has been in this world for more than a year, yet she has never truly gone home. What she sees are not toys, sunshine, and smiling faces, but hospital beds, medical equipment, tubes, and repeated surgeries and pain.
SKU: Case-2236

Case No. 2236: The little girl, NUR SYIFA AULIYA BINTI KHAIRUL AZMEER, who is now 1 year and 1 month old, has been confined in the hospital since birth due to premature delivery and severe congenital conditions. We are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise RM18,788 to prepare six months’ supply of special milk formula, medical supplies, and a feeding pump to sustain her basic survival and nutritional needs.

This is not a cost to improve her quality of life, but the essentials required to keep her alive. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted people across the country to lend a helping hand and help save this poor child.

Five surgeries within just one year.

SYIFA was born prematurely. Shortly after birth, she was diagnosed with imperforate anus, which prevented her from passing stool normally, along with multiple congenital abnormalities in her digestive system. Her life did not begin with “growing up,” but with “fighting to survive.”

Within just one short year, she has already undergone five surgeries, including right thoracotomy, laparotomy, stoma surgery, oesophageal reconstruction, and intestinal anastomosis, among other complex treatments. These are traumas that should never have belonged to a child like her, yet they have become the pain she must endure.

Due to laryngomalacia, she must rely on a ventilator for breathing over the long term. She is unable to eat like a normal child and can only receive nutrition through a feeding pump and special formula milk.

For the past year, she has been transferred between different hospital wards, never discharged and never experiencing the warmth of home. Even now, she remains surrounded only by the lights of the hospital ward.

Her mother quit her job to stay by her side.

SYIFA is the only child in the family. Her mother, NURUL ASYIQIN BINTI KAMARUDIN (28 years old), previously worked at a kindergarten, but was forced to resign in order to take care of her daughter.

Her father, KHAIRUL AZMEER BIN AB RAFI (32 years old), works as a technician with a modest income. Yet he must single-handedly support the family’s living expenses and his daughter’s ongoing medical costs.

Facing the long-term need for special formula milk and expensive medical equipment, the family is no longer able to bear the financial burden and has turned to us for help. We have decided to raise funds to cover six months’ supply of special formula milk and medical necessities for SYIFA. The funds will be used as follows:

# Special milk formula – Similac Total Comfort Step 1 (2’-FL) Milk Powder 0–12 Months (820g), 100 cans × RM150 = RM15,000

# Medical supplies = RM1,288

# Feeding pump = RM2,500

Total: RM18,788

We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted people nationwide to contribute and help this little girl continue her fight. We may not be able to bear the pain of her surgeries for her, but we can help protect her chance to continue receiving treatment. We also kindly ask you to share this appeal, so that more kind-hearted people can extend their help to her. May every act of kindness become the light in her life.
