SKU: Case-2130

Case No. 2130: Alby has not even learnt to say "papa" or "mama," yet he is already fighting for his life in the hospital ward. Months of struggle have left him weak and exhausted. It is heartbreaking to see such a tiny body endure so much pain. Your compassion can help this little life overcome illness and return home soon.

[He is still fighting to breathe, fighting to live.]

Alby is the beloved child of his parents, but his life has been filled with hardship since birth. On September 25 this year, he was rushed to the hospital due to severe diarrhea and vomiting. During treatment, his breathing stopped twice! At that critical moment, doctors and nurses fought desperately to save him. His frail little body hovered between life and death but miraculously came back to life. Although he has since been transferred from the intensive care unit to the general ward, his condition remains unstable, and he is not yet fit for discharge.

Doctors have diagnosed him with:

  • Severe rotavirus acute gastroenteritis with 10% dehydration
  • Mild to moderate acute respiratory distress syndrome secondary to bronchopneumonia
  • Mild laryngomalacia

Recently, he was also found to have a bacterial infection. Alby’s body is weak, and every second is a battle against illness. Despite his fragile state, his strong will to survive continues to move everyone around him.

[The parents’ helplessness and struggle.]

Alby is the only child of his parents. His father, Fachri Alam (24 years old), and mother, Nela Fitria (22 years old), both work in a canteen, earning very little, barely enough to cover daily expenses.

In their desperate attempt to save their baby, they managed to scrape together RM1,400 as a hospital deposit, but they can no longer afford the upcoming medical costs. Feeling helpless and heartbroken, the parents now turn to us for help.

[Please help Alby hold on to life.]

We have launched this crowdfunding campaign to raise RM9,000 for Alby’s medical treatment, hoping that the kind-hearted public will extend their helping hands so this 7-month-old baby can grow up healthy.

Even the smallest contribution can come together to create a powerful force of hope. Your kindness can light up his little life. Please also help share this appeal so that more caring people can come across helping the poor baby.
