FUNDRAISING CASE 2121 HO SU JIN
An unexpected diagnosis of lung cancer led to a sudden farewell. This year, 69-year-old Mr. Ho Su Jin was rushed to the hospital due to severe coughing. Within just a few days, he left his beloved family forever. As the family is financially strained and unable to afford the sudden funeral expenses, they are appealing to kindhearted people nationwide for donations so that Mr. Ho can rest in peace soon.
Case No. 2121:His youngest daughter, Ho Choi Woon (26 years old), shared that just a few days earlier, her father had been admitted to the hospital for emergency treatment. The doctors then discovered he had lung cancer. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and although doctors put him under anesthesia to let him rest and carried out multiple resuscitation attempts, Mr. Ho passed away quietly in the early hours of Sunday, leaving his family in deep sorrow and grief.
According to the death report, Mr. Ho Su Jin passed away on September 28 at 4:22 a.m. The cause of death was septic shock secondary to hospital-acquired pneumonia, with an underlying small cell lung carcinoma.
In his younger years, Mr. Ho worked as a soymilk vendor outside a bank, supporting his family through hard work. However, due to health issues, he was forced to retire two years ago. He also had to battle multiple illnesses, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
His wife, Ms. Lien Yok Mooi, is a kindergarten teaching assistant with a modest income. Together, they have four children: the eldest daughter is a housewife, the eldest son works as a chef, the youngest daughter has just graduated and started working with a low salary, while the youngest son has unstable employment. The family was already struggling to make ends meet, and the sudden burden of funeral expenses has become an overwhelming challenge they cannot bear alone.
