FUNDRAISING CASE 2111 TI YAP POI
On the morning of September 10, 78-year-old Madam Ti Yap Poi passed away peacefully at home. After years of battling illness, her suffering has finally come to an end. However, this sudden farewell has left her two daughters in deep grief and helplessness. The family is now appealing to kind-hearted individuals for donations to cover the funeral expenses so that she can rest in peace soon.
Case No. 2111:Madam Ti had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease and other age-related illnesses. In recent months, she had become bedridden, struggled to eat, rarely drank water, and her abdomen became swollen. That morning, her youngest daughter, Chen Mee Sum (42 years old) checked on her mother as usual, only to find that she had already passed away. Without a word of goodbye, her mother’s sudden departure left her heartbroken.
According to the death report, Madam Ti passed away at 7:45 a.m. on September 10, 2025, at home. The cause of death was diabetes and hypertension.
Chen Mee Sum revealed that her only brother, Madam Ti’s son, had passed away at the young age of 17. Today, her elder sister is unemployed, while Chen Mee Sum herself is a single mother shouldering the heavy responsibility of caring for the family. She has two children, aged 16 and 18, and life has already been a daily struggle. The family of five survives with occasional help from relatives, and they are unable to bear the sudden cost of funeral arrangements. In this time of sorrow and helplessness, Chen Mee Sum is seeking help from us so that her mother could have a proper farewell.

The prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlour (Hall K) on Thursday, September 11, 2025, followed by cremation on Friday, September 12, 2025. The ashes will be placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Kuala Lumpur.
