BENEFICIARY PROFILE 2103 BI YO NA LEME
At just 11 months old, little baby girl Bi Yo Na Leme has been fighting for her life since the moment she was born. Suffering from a series of severe health conditions, she depends on medical equipment just to stay alive. Her family urgently needs RM9,200 to secure the life-saving machines she requires.
Case No. 2103: Bi Yo Na Leme can only survive with the support of a special breathing machine, together with a milk pump, suction machine, and compressor nebulizer. She urgently needs help from the kind-hearted public.
When she came into this world, doctors discovered that she had multiple serious health problems: soft dysmorphism, moderate laryngomalacia with LPR, dextroscoliosis, and clinical gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). From the start, her breathing could only be sustained by a CPAP machine, which kept her fragile life going.
[Her condition worsens; equipment upgrade needed]
By the end of July 2025, she was hospitalized again due to breathing difficulties and persistent coughing. This time, doctors delivered heartbreaking news: CPAP was no longer enough. To keep her alive, she urgently needed to upgrade to a BiPAP machine, which can provide stronger support for her lungs.
However, the BiPAP is very costly. Doctors recommended renting it for six months, but even this remains far beyond what her struggling family can afford.
[A family of four living on the edge of survival]
Her father, Yu Thar Leme (29 years old), works as a kitchen helper with meagre wages. Her mother, Da Ma Yet Leme (23 years old), is a full-time homemaker caring for Bi Yo Na Leme and her elder sister. The family already struggles to meet daily needs, and with medical costs piling up, they are left helpless. They hold UNHCR refugee status, but in their desperation, the parents have no choice but to appeal for help once more.
To give this baby a chance to survive, we are raising funds to purchase and rent the following life-saving equipment:
- Milk pump: RM2,500
- Suction machine: RM750
- Compressor nebulizer: RM350
- BiPAP rental for 6 months: RM5,600
Total: RM9,200
For most families, this amount might still be possible. But for Bi Yo Na Leme’s family, it is out of reach.
We sincerely appeal to your kindness. Please extend a helping hand to save this little baby who cannot yet speak but has already fought countless battles on her hospital bed. Together, let us give her the chance to keep breathing, to keep growing, and to see a future.
We also hope you can share this message so that more kind-hearted people may come forward and help this baby overcome her critical struggle.
