FUNDRAISING CASE 2067 BABY OF MARIANI
A 3-month-old baby boy, abandoned on a tiny hospital bed, faces the world all alone, just longing for a touch of warmth and kindness.
We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals across the country to donate RM3,148 to help this poor little one get through his toughest moments. The funds will go toward six months’ worth of essential care supplies, including diapers, wet wipes, and ostomy bags.
Case No. 2067: He has no name, no love from parents, and no healthy body. All we know is the name the hospital registered him with: "Baby of Mariani".
From the very start, life has been unbearably hard for him. Shortly after birth, he was diagnosed with three serious medical conditions:
- Hirschsprung disease (a congenital condition affecting the colon)
- Down syndrome
- Congenital hypothyroidism
Now only 3 months old, he remains in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for close monitoring and treatment. He cannot pass stool normally and relies on an ostomy bag for waste. Doctors say he will need to gain more weight and become more stable before he can undergo surgery at around 6 months old to close the stoma. Only then can they transfer him to an orphanage to start his life.
