BENEFICIARY PROFILE 2064 WONG TUCK
Case No. 2064: Mr. Wong Tuck, a 73-year-old man, recently passed away after suffering from breathing difficulties caused by a lung infection. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent more than 10 hours of emergency treatment, but sadly, he did not survive. His only son is unable to afford the unexpected funeral expenses and is earnestly appealing to the public for donations to help cover the costs so that his father may rest in peace.
Mr. Wong Tuck had worked tirelessly his entire life without complaint. He never retired, continuing to work until illness forced him to stop. Now, he has left this world peacefully, but behind he leaves a family that is financially unable to manage his funeral.
His only son, 32-year-old Wong Chee Hou, shared with the social worker that his father had long been battling Parkinson’s disease, which severely weakened his lungs. Mr. Wong had even undergone a tracheotomy to help with breathing and phlegm management. However, a sudden lung infection recently caused acute respiratory distress, and although he was rushed to the hospital and treated by doctors, they were ultimately unable to save him. He passed away that night.
According to the death report, Mr. Wong Tuck passed away from complications of advanced Parkinson’s disease with pneumonia on July 5, 2025, at 10:25 PM.
During his lifetime, Mr. Wong was a small-time vendor at the market, selling reading glasses. He only stopped working when his illness became too severe. His wife continues to sell socks at the market to supplement their income. Their only son, Wong Chee Hou, supports the family by selling herbal soups at night markets. He has two young children, and the family survives on a very modest income. The sudden loss of his father and the burden of funeral costs have left him overwhelmed with grief and uncertainty. In desperation, he turns to us for help.
We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, and cremation. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.
