FUNDRAISING CASE 2028 MOHAMMED HOSSAIN ALI KHAN
Life Lies Within Every Breath — A Ventilator Could Give Mohammed a Second Chance at Life! We sincerely appeal to all kind-hearted individuals across the nation to help save 8-month-old Mohammed, who urgently needs RM7,500 to purchase a life-sustaining ventilator.
Case No. 2028: At just 8 months old, most children are beginning to babble and crawl—enjoying one of the most adorable stages of childhood. But for Mohammed Hossain Ali Khan, these past few months have been a constant struggle between life and death.
He is one of a pair of premature twins—born at only 25 weeks of gestation. Right after birth, he was diagnosed with Severe Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, and is also presumed to suffer from Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Mohammed has great difficulty breathing and relies on medical equipment every single day to survive.
【One Twin Discharged, the Other Still Fighting】
His twin brother, who was diagnosed with the same condition, has miraculously recovered and has been discharged from the hospital. However, Mohammed’s condition remains critical, and he is still unable to leave the hospital.
His father, Helal Khan (47 years old), is a construction worker, while his mother, Shahanaz Akter (31 years old), is a housewife. Over the past few months, they have exhausted all their resources and have spent a significant amount on medical expenses—all in the hope of giving their child a chance to live. But now, they have reached the end of their means.
【In Need of a Life-Saving Ventilator】
Medical reports indicate that Mohammed requires a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine, which must be used long-term until his condition improves. However, the machine costs RM7,500, a sum that the father can no longer afford. Yet, this machine is critical for Mohammed’s survival.
This is a moment where a fragile life hangs in the balance. With the ventilator, Mohammed could be lifted out of immediate danger.
In their helplessness and desperation, his parents are appealing to the compassion of the public. We have decided to launch a fundraising campaign to support them. Every donation is deeply needed and greatly appreciated.
Please also help us share this appeal to spread the message. We hope more kind-hearted individuals can come forward to help little Mohammed through this critical time in his life. Thank you.
