48-year-old Yap Chui Pin is already in the terminal stage of lung cancer and can no longer undergo surgery and chemotherapy. She can only take pain killer medicine given by doctor to relieve her pain. The 24-year-old filial daughter (also the only child) is very clear that her mother’s life is about to burn out like an oil lamp, but as a daughter, when her mother stepped into the last moment in her life, she would like to make sure that her mother have money to buy medicine, food and place to live too.

However, Pui Mun is just a weak young girl, no siblings, lonely and alone. Currently she is unemployed, how can she afford to assist her mother Yap Chui Pin who is at a last stage of cancer, a skinny mother who is suffered from the disease and search around, asking for help? The filial daughter wept helplessly, her heart was like cutting by a knife, and she didn't know where to go.

Pui Mun is a filial daughter. She whispers softly to her mother who is at the last stage of cancer. She does so even for simple things. For example, if she wants her mother to stand up, she will say: Mom, can you stand up? Pui Mun will not be feeling irritated by her sick mother

In 2018, Ong Pui Mun started take care of her mother at the last stage of cancer, Pui Mun had to give up her job. She was initially engaged as a beautician and received a salary of RM2500.

Pui Mun initially intended to hire a nurse for 24 hours to take care of her mother who has been seriously ill. However, hiring day and night care required money, and the cost would be more than her income. She had no financial ability.

At the same time, the nurse might not be as close as daughter. The outsider may not understand the condition of her mother, so Pui Mun decided to take care of her mother, give up her income, and become unemployment so that she would be able to take care of her mother, and may spend more time to accompany her mother too.

Pui Mun bought a car with a loan when she was working, but now she has lost her job and has no financial ability to repay the car loan. The car will be towed away. She must fetch her mother to the hospital for medical treatment by doctor, and she must have her own transportation. The car loan is RM450 a month, and it is an ordinary national car. At the last stage of cancer, Mdm. Yap Chui Pin had difficulty in breathing. At home, she needed to use a ventilator to breathe. Pei Wen borrowed a ventilator from the Kuala Lumpur Central Hospital for her mother. Mdm. Yap Chui Pin’s stomach was swollen and she had difficulty in the process of defecation, which made her very uncomfortable and she had to take medicine to relieve it.

Pui Mun lives only on her mother's savings and her savings would be almost exhausted after these two years. How will be her mother lived the in future? Pui Mun is constantly struck by huge troubles and pressures. Under desperation, she hoped to get the assistance of enthusiastic people so that the seriously ill mother could live in peace.

RM1500 --- Mother and daughter food expenses, daily necessities and miscellaneous expenses

RM450 --- Car loan (Pui Mun needs to drive and must send her mother for medical check)

RM1000 --- Rent and utilities
