A poor baby passed away in the womb before even having the chance to open their eyes and see the world. The mother, devastated by the sudden loss, is unable to afford the unexpected funeral expenses and is appealing to the kind-hearted public for help.
Case No. 2054: Only 27 years old, Yolla Agustin Saragih suddenly experienced severe abdominal pain at home. Realizing she was about to give birth, she panicked and sought help from her neighbour, who rushed her to a nearby clinic.
Tragically, fate was cruel. A breech position caused the baby to become stuck in the birth canal, ultimately leading to its declared lifeless status. At that heartbreaking moment, the baby never got the chance to cry or see the world but silently passed away in the womb.
This child, who never had the chance to embrace their mother, left quietly and too soon. The baby had no name, only a deep sense of loss that left the mother in eternal sorrow. The baby’s body was transferred from the clinic to the hospital mortuary. When the mother retrieved the body, she held her baby’s cold, lifeless form, kissing it over and over while holding back tears. Finally, in immense grief, she gently placed her child into a tiny casket and broke down, crying uncontrollably.
According to the death report, Baby of Yolla Agustin Saragih passed away at 2 a.m. on June 17. The cause of death was classified as Fresh Stillbirth, meaning the baby likely passed away shortly before or during labour.
Due to financial hardship, Yolla is unable to arrange the funeral and has turned to us for help. We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, and cremation. The prayer ceremony will be held at Fook Yee Memorial Centre, Petaling Jaya (Hall XX) on Monday, June 23, 2025, followed by cremation on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The ashes will be scattered into the sea, allowing this little angel to rest peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord.
