Case No. 1984: Mr. Chiea Ah Kau, an elderly homeless man, lived a long and lonely life in silence. He recently passed away in a nursing home with no family or relatives by his side. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals nationwide to contribute towards his funeral expenses, allowing him to rest in peace.

Mr. Chiea Ah Kau was once a homeless wanderer who roamed the streets of Seremban for many years. One day, he collapsed by the roadside and was rescued by a kind passerby, who arranged for him to be sent to the hospital for treatment. Medical examinations revealed that he had a bacterial infection and an infected wound on his leg, though his condition was not severe. He also suffered from age-related illnesses and dementia, which left him unable to communicate properly, often talking to himself.

As he had no family to care for him, the hospital arranged for him to be admitted to a non-profit nursing home on January 31, 2025, where he received proper care. Unfortunately, on March 5, 2025 (Wednesday), nursing home staff discovered that he was unresponsive while delivering his meal. They immediately reported the matter to the authorities. When medical personnel arrived, they confirmed that he had passed away.

According to the death report, Mr. Chiea Ah Kau passed away at 9:20 AM on March 5, 2025, due to geriatric disease and multiple electrolyte imbalances.

Having lived a life of hardship with no family or friends to arrange his funeral, the director of the nursing home has entrusted us to handle his funeral arrangements. We hope to give him a peaceful and dignified farewell.

Da Ai will take full responsibility for the funeral arrangements. We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, and cremation. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the entire funeral, please contact any of us for more information. Thank you.

The prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall G) in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, March 6, 2025, followed by cremation on Friday, March 7, 2025. The ashes will be scattered into the sea, allowing the deceased to return to the embrace of nature and rest in peace.
