Urgent need for assistance! A newborn baby boy requires RM20,000 for a crucial myelomeningocele repair surgery to escape a life-threatening situation. We earnestly implore kind-hearted individuals nationwide to assist with donations.

Case No. 1767: Due to the urgency of the situation, the father has not yet named the baby boy. In recent days, he has tirelessly travelled around seeking funds for the surgery. He has wholeheartedly sought help to save his child, but unfortunately, the funds for the operation are far from sufficient. Helplessly, he pleads for the compassionate donations of kind-hearted people, enabling this infant, not yet a month old, to overcome this life-threatening situation.

The father, ISMUHAR, feels extremely distressed and helpless, unable to express the pain. Following his wife's caesarean section, her weakened state necessitates her continued stay in the hospital, while their beloved son has been transferred to a larger hospital for treatment. Two loved ones are in separate hospitals, and ISMUHAR desperately wishes to visit both wife and child frequently, all while racing against time to gather the surgery fees. For the sake of his child, he is unafraid of enduring more hardship and suffering. He has already given his all, yet the funds for the operation remain insufficient.

The baby's condition is currently critical, necessitating him to sleep on his stomach to avoid aggravating the wound on his spine's lower end. An urgent MYELOMENINGOCELE repair and KIV OMAYA diversion surgery are imperative. Doctors warn that without immediate surgery, the baby's condition will deteriorate, posing a severe risk to his life. After the surgery, the baby must continue to stay in the hospital for some time before being discharged.

The baby boy is the child of Mrs. MARIANI NURDINSYAM and Mr. ISMUHAR, and he was found to have "leaking lumbar myelomeningocele" along with bilateral hydrocephalus within 22 hours of his birth. "Lumbar myelomeningocele" is a complex form of congenital central nervous system malformation, a severe type of spina bifida involving spinal cord and meninges protrusion, fatty brain membrane protrusion, and incomplete tail development syndrome.

Born on November 4th via his mother's caesarean delivery, the baby boy unexpectedly faced a congenital critical illness, leaving the couple utterly devastated.

ISMUHAR and MARIANI NURDINSYAM also have two other children, aged 14 and 12. For the sake of sustaining their livelihood, the children were left in their hometown under the care of family members while the parents ventured out to work. The father works as a construction worker, but due to his meagre income, the couple lacks the means to afford the child's surgery.

During a home visit by social workers to ISMUHAR, he expressed that both his wife and child were in separate hospitals, leaving him deeply distressed and anxiously waiting, hoping for their safety.

Although exhausted, ISMUHAR has not given up, persistently borrowing money from friends and family to save his child. Despite his earnest efforts, he returned disappointed. Feeling utterly helpless, he turned to Da Ai, hoping for assistance.

Da Ai aims to crowdfund the full RM20,000 for the baby's surgery, appealing for the help of kind-hearted individuals nationwide. It is also a plea for everyone to share this request for assistance, hoping for more people to show their love and aid the baby boy in receiving the necessary surgery, recovering soon, and growing up happily. Thank you.
