Case No. 1741: A young foreign woman unfortunately suffered a miscarriage during her pregnancy. She earnestly requests donations to cover the expenses for the arrangements after the baby's passing, so that the infant's soul may find peace soon.

The miscarriage has deeply impacted SAPITRI, leaving her in a state of profound sorrow and despair. She firmly believes in the value of life, and she wishes for the departed baby, named Kai Xian, to find tranquilly. However, she lacks the financial means to handle the unexpected funeral costs. In her grief, she implores kind-hearted individuals across the nation to contribute to her cause.

SAPITRI, from Indonesia, has been raised in a Buddhist environment and holds a steadfast faith. Her current goal is to ensure that the unborn child finds peace in the afterlife. She humbly appeals to compassionate individuals to make donations to help fulfil her wish.

According to the death report, Kai Xian passed away on August 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. due to the miscarriage of her mother.

The baby, Ang Kai Xian, who didn't have the chance to witness the beautiful world, tragically lost its life at just 16 weeks when still unborn. SAPITRI, the mother, is a young woman who came to Malaysia from a foreign land in search of a better life.

SAPITRI was overjoyed upon learning of her pregnancy, eagerly anticipating the arrival of her baby. However, fate took a cruel turn when she was 16 weeks pregnant. A sudden and intense abdominal pain filled her with fear. Hurriedly, she asked a friend to take her to the hospital, only to be informed that she had suffered a miscarriage. This unexpected blow plunged her into a profound sense of loss and agony.

Deciding to perform Buddhist rituals for the child's afterlife, SAPITRI sought to chant scriptures and offer blessings, wishing for her baby to attain enlightenment and return to her side in future lives. However, she is merely an employee at a restaurant, earning a modest income. She lacks the means to make the proper arrangements for her baby. Hence, she reaches out to Da Ai, hoping for assistance.

We are handling the whole funeral process for Kai Xian, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, cremation, and ash placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so the baby can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers at Da Ai for more information. Thank you. Kai Xian’s prayer ceremony will be held in Selangor and KL Nanyang Thong Hong Siang T'ng (Hall 2) on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023, followed by cremation on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023. The ashes will be scattered into the sea for the baby to rest in peace soon.
