Case No. 1716: Seeking assistance for the funeral expenses and arrangements following the unfortunate passing of Mr. Wong Chee Yoong, who suffered from cerebral bleeding leading to multiple organ failure. His wife, who was financially dependent on him, is unable to bear the sudden funeral expenses.
Mr. Wong Chee Yoong, who was only 58 years old, recently underwent heart surgery in the hospital. However, he remained in a coma for two weeks following the surgery. Despite the medical team's efforts to save him, he succumbed to the illness, leaving behind his wife, who is now unable to handle the matter after his passing. We kindly request the support of compassionate individuals to donate to the funeral so that he can reast in peace soon.
Earlier in his life, Mr. Wong Chee Yoong worked as a construction worker but had to stop working a few years ago due to kidney disease, which required regular dialysis and weakened his health. Unfortunately, he recently experienced cardiac distress, leading him to seek medical attention, where the severity of his condition was discovered, resulting in emergency surgery. Following the surgery, Mr. Wong Chee Yoong remained in a coma for two weeks.
Mrs. Wong Chew Lee, his wife, is devastated by the loss of her husband. When she shared the unfortunate news about her husband, she was overwhelmed with grief and unable to hold back her tears, causing great sorrow to those around her. She mentioned that her husband's condition was extremely weak after the surgery, and although he was transferred to a regular ward, his condition suddenly deteriorated, leading to breathing difficulties. Despite the doctors' efforts to resuscitate Mr. Wong, he was unable to overcome the illness and passed away.
According to the death report, Mr. Wong Chee Yoong tragically passed away on June 13th at 5:30 PM due to multi organ failure secondary to a cerebral bleed.
The couple did not have children, and their relatives and friends are either elderly or deceased. Mrs. Wong Chew Lee underwent tumour removal surgery for breast cancer in her earlier years and has been without employment for many years. Now, with the sudden loss of her husband, Mrs. Wong Chew Lee feels lost, overwhelmed with grief, and helpless as she turns to Da Ai to assist her in handling the matters after her husband's passing.
