Case No. 1713: An unfortunate father passed away after a car accident and contracting pneumonia in the hospital. The youngest daughter is unable to afford the sudden funeral expenses and earnestly seeks donations.

Mr. Chee Ngow Chai, aged 67, was a carpenter before the unfortunate incident. Earlier this year, he suffered severe injuries in a car accident, which left him paralyzed. Unfortunately, his misfortune did not end there, as he also contracted pneumonia. Due to his weakened state and deteriorating condition, he tragically lost his precious life. The youngest daughter is unable to bear the expenses related to her father's funeral and humbly requests donations, hoping that her father can rest in peace soon.

Following the car accident, Mr. Chee Ngow Chai was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Once the hospital allowed his discharge, his daughter, Chee Yoke Man, had no choice but to place him in a nursing home, as she needed to work. She hoped that her father would gradually recover in the nursing home. However, due to his pneumonia, he frequently had fevers and respiratory difficulties, necessitating repeated hospital visits. As a result of prolonged bedridden paralysis, his skin developed inflammation and ulceration, causing great concern for his wife and Chee Yoke Man.

Recently, the nursing home informed the daughter that her father suddenly had a high fever and difficulty breathing, requiring urgent hospitalization and treatment. Unfortunately, despite being admitted to the hospital, Mr. Chee Ngow Chai succumbed to the illness. According to the death report, he passed away on the evening of May 30 at 8:40 p.m. due to pneumonia.

Mr. Chee Ngow Chai had two daughters, and his wife has been unable to work for many years due to health issues. The eldest daughter had been working abroad and had limited contact with the family, causing a long period of disconnection.

Currently, all family matters rely solely on the youngest daughter, Chee Yoke Man.

Chee Yoke Man works as a cashier, and the eldest daughter has been out of touch. Due to the family's poverty, they are unable to afford the sudden funeral expenses. Therefore, they turn to Da Ai for assistance.

We are handling the whole funeral process for Mr. Chee Ngow Chai, which includes body transfer, cremation, prayer ceremony, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

Mr. Chee Ngow Chai's prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlour (Hall Q) in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, June 1, 2023, followed by cremation on Friday, June 2, 2023.
