The 68-year-old Mr. Cheah Tin Soon was admitted to the hospital for treatment more than a month ago but passed away while there. The only son, with a meagre income, was unable to cope with the sudden funeral costs. He is kindly requesting donations from kind-hearted people to cope with the funeral so his father can rest in peace soon.
Mr. Cheah Tin Soon used to work in the renovation industry when he was young, but due to his pneumonia and liver disease, he had long been unable to work. The family of three relied on the mother and son to make ends meet, with the wife taking up odd jobs to earn a meagre income and the only son working as a clerk in a bank with a limited income. The family had to live frugally to make ends meet.
The father's death devastated the mother and son, and they were unable to cover the unexpected funeral costs.
Therefore, the son, Dickson Cheah Chin Xiu, sought help from Da Ai to arrange his father's funeral.
According to the death report issued by the hospital, Mr. Cheah Tin Soon passed away at 9.08 a.m. on March 6, 2023, due to pneumonia with underlying disseminated tuberculosis and hepatitis C.
We are handling the whole funeral process, which includes body transfer, cremation, a prayer ceremony, and the placement of the ashes by his family members. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

Mr. Cheah Tin Soon's prayer service will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall Q) in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, followed by cremation on Thursday, March 9, 2023. The ashes will be placed by his family members.
