Case No. 1679 : The son returned home from work and found his mother lying lifeless on the ground. Due to the poor financial situation of the family, we earnestly request the help of the enthusiastic public to donate to the funeral.

Ms. Hoong Bee Yoke, a 50-year-old mother, passed away before her son could return home to see her one last time. Upon arriving home, the son was shocked to find his mother lying unresponsive on the ground and immediately contacted the authorities. Medical staff arrived and confirmed that the mother had passed away. As the family is unable to afford the sudden expenses for the funeral, they are kindly requesting donations from kind-hearted people to cope with the funeral so she can rest in peace soon.

According to the death report issued by the police station at Brickfields, Ms. Hoong Bee Yoke passed away at 7 p.m. on March 4, 2023, due to complications from hypertension.

Ms. Hoong Bee Yoke was a salesperson in a jewellery store when she was young. Due to her suffering from hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and hyperglycemia, as well as overworking, she experienced severe back pain and needed a lot of rest, which prevented her from working.

She had five sons, and her husband and eldest son were both welders. Her other sons were very young and worked very hard, but their wages were meager. Her youngest son was only 14 years old and still studying. They had always lived in low-cost government housing. Because the family's income was very low, the children had to use all their savings to buy an affordable niche for their mother's ashes, but they were unable to afford the sudden funeral expenses.

In their time of immense grief, Mr. Yee Tuck Chung, the third son, entrusted Da Ai to manage his mother's funeral.

We are handling the whole funeral process, which includes body transfer, cremation, a prayer ceremony, and the placement of the ashes. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for the funeral so she can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers at Da Ai for more information. Thank you.

Ms. Hoong Bee Yoke's prayer service will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall G) in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, March 6, 2023, followed by cremation on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. The ashes will be placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Tower.
