Case No. 1663 : The father, Mr. EE POH WAH passed away unconsciously while taking a nap. Due to a meager income and unable to cope with the funeral expense, his daughter earnestly request the help of the enthusiastic public to donate to her father's funeral.
64-year-old Mr. EE POH WAH was found passed away in bed by his family at home at 2.00 pm on February 1. His family immediately called the police for help. When the medical staff arrived, they confirmed that he had passed away. His daughter Ms. EE YUH JING is unable to cope with the funeral expenses, so we sincerely call upon everyone to donate to his funeral so he can rest in peace soon.
The daughter, Ms. EE YUH JING said that before 1.00 pm that day, her father still go to the toilet, and told the family that he was very tired, so he went back to his room to rest. Unexpectedly, when she met her father an hour later, her father already passed away. The sudden death of the father left the family in deep grief.
1st of February is the eleventh day of the Chinese New Year, and the daughter was heartbroken that her father left the family in a hurry before the Lantern Festival (Chap Goh Mei), which made the family very sad. Although Mr. EE POH WAH had three highs before his death, his daughter did not expect him to pass away suddenly.
According to the death report issued by the hospital, Mr. EE POH WAH passed away from geriatric illness at 2.55pm on February 1, 2023.
Mr. EE POH WAH was an engineering manager when he was young and has been retired for many years. His wife is currently working in a factory, and his daughter Ms. EE YUH JING is a 28-year-old clerk. The income of mother and daughter is meager. His son is currently unemployed. Due to the poverty of the family, they are unable to cope with sudden funeral expenses.
With nowhere to turn for help, Ms. EE YUH JING turned to Da Ai for help, hoping to help with her father's funeral.

The prayer ceremony for Mr. EE POH WAH will be held on February 2, 2023 (Thursday) at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlour Kuala Lumpur (Hall M), and the cremation will be held on February 3, 2023 (Thursday). The ashes will be sent back to his hometown by his daughter and placed in Huai En Memorial Park in Malacca.
