When mother MARY feeds her child, she must observe whether the gastric catheter is blocked or not and whether the child vomits. Her confession was heart-wrenching. She worked hard every day to take care of her child GOH CHUN YI, and every time she thought about her situation, she shed tears. When she thought that if she leaves, it would be very desolate without anyone to take care of her child. She even thought about suicide with her child.
MARY needs to endure the pain and get up at 4 am every day to prepare to set up her stall and earn some living expenses. However, when the stall is busy, she has always been worried about the condition of the child at home, but she can't wholeheartedly take care of him at home. As the money for seeing a doctor and buying medical supplies and equipment is often not enough, she can only cry at night.
Since Goh Chun Yi was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, he has required extensive recuperation and regular follow-up by the hospital. Single mother MARY runs a stall in a restaurant to make a living by selling noodles. As she is busy earning a meager income, she is really powerless to take good care of Chun Yi. She felt guilt and self-blame, but she couldn't give up her work. She is very miserable.
MARY suffered a stroke many years ago and was unable to move half of her body. After recovering, her right hand is still weak, which affects the speed of her cooking. The customers are all patient and willing to wait, which makes her very grateful.
In order to take care of her son Chun Yi, she will persevere to the end no matter how difficult it is.
