A poor elderly, Mr. Tan Lee, was abandoned by his family when he was hospitalized. After his death, his remains were kept in the morgue for 3 weeks without being handled by the family. Under the entrustment of the hospital, we will handle the whole process of his funeral. We earnestly request the help of the enthusiastic public by donating to the funeral.
70-year-old Tan Lee was abandoned by his family in the hospital half a year ago due to his old age and illness, and the hospital could no longer contact his family. Later, due to the shortage of hospital beds, the elderly were arranged to enter a non-profit nursing home in Petaling Jaya.
The person in charge of the nursing home told us that while taking care of the elderly, he was admitted to the hospital several times because of his illness, but no matter how hard he tried to contact his family, his family could not be found.
On the evening of August 11 this year, the elderly went into shock due to a sudden severe illness and was rushed to the University of Malaya Medical Centre. He passed away in the hospital at 7.42 pm. According to the death report issued by the hospital, the cause of death was acute sepsis.
What’ even heartbreaking is that the person in charge of the nursing home told us that Tan Lee’s remains had been placed in the hospital morgue for three weeks, and his family was unwilling to come forward to handle it. Therefore, they entrust us to handle his funeral.
As the remains can’t be kept for long time, we can only choose to seal the coffin before performing any funeral ceremony. The whole funeral process is going on, which included body transfer, cremation, prayer service, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

The prayer service will be held on 12th September 2022 (Monday) at Gui Yuan Funeral Parlour Petaling Jaya (Hall 1), and the cremation will be held on 13th September 2022 (Tuesday). The ashes will then be placed at Nirvana Shah Alam Columbarium HC13, 9th Floor No. 18th .
