Case No. 1534

Mr. TENG KIM HING passed away in the hospital due to Grade IV thymic cancer. Since the two daughters were unable to cope with the funeral expenses of their father, we earnestly request the help of the enthusiastic public by donating to Mr. TENG's funeral.

75-year-old TENG KIM HING was admitted to the hospital more than a month ago with swollen hands and feet, shoulder pain, and difficulty breathing. Doctors found that he had fluid in his lungs, hands, and feet, and his heart was very weak. Doctors then performed a minor operation to extract some of his cells for a more detailed examination.

As the elderly was weak, he stayed in the hospital for almost a month and the test report had not come out yet, so the daughters took their father home to recuperate. But then he was readmitted to the hospital a few days ago due to physical discomfort. At this time, the test report has finally come out, and the report showed that TENG KIM HING suffered from Grade IV thymic cancer with superior vena cava obstruction. The cancer cells had spread to his lungs and bones. Before he could receive complete cancer treatment, he passed away in the hospital. The news made the two daughters extremely grief-stricken and heartbreaking.

According to the death report issued by the hospital, Mr. TENG KIM HING passed away at 4.50 pm on 16 August due to Grade IV thymic cancer with superior vena cava obstruction.

The eldest daughter, TENG KAM FOONG, is also a cancer patient. Because she has to recuperate at home, she cannot work and has no income. The second daughter, TENG KAM LIN, is a secretary. The family of three relies on her meager income. Life is very difficult, and they are unable to cope with the unexpected funeral expenses of their father. In desperation, Ms. TENG KAM FOONG entrusted us to handle the funeral for her father.

We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which included body transfer, cremation, prayer service, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for his funeral so he can rest in peace soon. If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers of Da Ai for more information. Thank you.

The prayer service will be held on 18th August 2022 (Thursday) at Kwong Tong Parlour Kuala Lumpur (Hall G), and the cremation will be held on 19th August 2022 (Friday). The ashes will then be placed at Kwong Tong Crematorium Pagoda.
