56-year-old Ms. Thong Yuet Quin suffered from depression and has been seeing a doctor to take medicine to control her condition. Because of her frequent suicidal behavior, her husband sent her to a free charity center so that she could get a better care. However, recently her depression had worsened, and the person in charge of the charity center informed her husband that she refused to eat, so her husband had to send her to the hospital.
Ms. Thong Yuet Quin has been in the hospital for two weeks and has been instilled for a week. Her condition has not improved, and unfortunately passed away on the afternoon of June 18. Her husband was working when he received the bad news from the hospital that Ms. Thong has passed away, which made him instantly grieved.
According to the death report issued by University Malaya Medical Centre, Ms. Thong Yuet Quin passed away at 3 pm on June 18 due to septia shock selonaary to clostridium bacteria.
Ms. Thong’s husband was a tourist bus driver before. Due to the MCO caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, he lost his job. Now he can only switch to be a Grab driver to support his family, and his income is meager and unstable. They have three children and only one son has found his job as an air-conditioning apprentice for meager wages. The charity center that Ms. Thong Yuet Quin stayed in usually relies on donations form enthusiastic public, and was unable to cope with unexpected funeral expenses. In desperation, Ms. Thong’s husband asked Da Ai for help.
We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for her funeral so she can rest in peace soon.

The prayer service will be held on 20th June 2022 (Monday) at Jishantang Jinjang (Hall 2), and the cremation will be held on 21st June 2022 (Tuesday). The ashes will then be placed at Kepong Cemetery Tower Kuala Lumpur KA37 6F-20.
