Case No. 1453

After an elderly’s husband passed away, she was unable to cope with the funeral expenses. Therefore, we earnestly request the help of enthusiastic public by donating for her husband’s funeral.

75-year-old Mr. Lee Kam Ling lived with his wife Chiang Geok Mui. On the afternoon of June 6, his wife called him to ask him what he wanted to eat, but no one answered. So Ms. Chiang contacted his friends to go to his house and check it out what is happening. When his friends arrived at his house, they found that Mr. Lee Kam Ling had passed away and his body was cold and stiff. Ms. Chiang Geok Mui went home immediately after the friends informed her about the death of Mr. Lee. Seeing that her husband passed away peacefully, she held back her grief and called the police.

The medical staffs confirmed that Mr. Lee Kam Ling had passed away after they arrived at the scene. According to the death report issued by Police Station Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Lee Kam Ling passed away at 3.45 pm on June 6 due to geriatric disease.

70-year-old Ms. Chiang Geok Mui said that her husband was a mask technician when he was young. Because of his old age and frail health, he had to go to the hospital for check-ups form time to time. In order to meet living expenses, Ms. Chiang Geak Mui has to work even though she is elderly. She is a handyman with very little income and no savings to cope with her husband’s funeral expenses.

Ms. Chiang Geok Mui and Mr. Lee Kam Ling have no children. However, Mr. lee and his ex-wife have three children, all in their fifties. The eldest daughter is unemployed, the son is an air-conditioning mechanic, and the second daughter works abroad. Due to the financial difficulties of the children, they are unable to cope with the unexpected funeral expenses, thus, Ms. Chiang Geok Mui entrusted us to handle her husband’s funeral.

We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for his funeral so he can rest in peace soon.
