Aung Myint Tun, 44 years old, from Myanmar, was weak and coughed every day. Due to his poor health, he has not been working for a long time. His friend Koye told us that Aung Myint Tun had a bad cough and needed medication to sleep.

Friends suspected that he had cancer and persuaded him to return to Myanmar for treatment. He had already decided to return to Myanmar, and his friends had arranged everything for him. His return date was also set. Unfortunately, he passed away in a foreign land before returning to his country, which made his friends deeply regret and sad.

His friends recently found Aung Myint Tun passed away in an abandoned shophouse in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The body was stiff and blackened. His friends immediately called the police, and the medical staff arrived the scene to confirm that he had passed away for a day or two.

According to the death report issued by the University Malaya Medical Centre, Mr. Aung Myint Tun passed away at 5.55 pm on 27th May 2022. Although the police require time to investigate and deal with the death cases belonging to foreigners, the remains were already decomposed and smelled badly. In desperation, we decided to seal the coffin before performing prayer service.

The friends of Mr. Aung Myint Tun are all foreign workers, and their wages are meager, so they can’t afford the unexpected funeral expenses. Therefore, they entrusted us to help deal with the funeral of the deceased.

Under the entrustment of friends of the deceased, we are handling the whole funeral process, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and scattering the ashes into the sea. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for his funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral of Mr. Aung Myint Tun, kindly contact any social workers of Da Ai for more information. Thank you.
