Case No. 1438

Mr. Lee Chee Kong, who was wandering on the street, was found dead in the corridor outside the shop by passer-by. The long-lost sister was shocked to hear that her younger brother passed away, but she was unable to cope with the funeral expenses. Therefore, we earnestly request the help of everyone by donating for Mr. Lee’s funeral.

Mr. Lee Chee Kong has no fixed home and has been wandering abroad for a long time. When he was found, all the relics were a tattered cardboard box and a backpack, and he was penniless. He slept on the paper box and passed away, and the scene was heart-wrenching.

After the death of 54-year-old Mr. Lee Chee Kong, we received a notice from kind passersby and came to the scene in Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur. The scene was messy, and there was still food left. We were really sad if he left this world before he was full.

Kindhearted passersby uploaded the photos of the deceased on the Internet to look for his family, and finally found his only sister. The sister Madam Lee said she had not been in contact with her brother for years, did not know where he lived and did not imagine his brother would be wandered from place to place. When she suddenly learned of her brother’s whereabouts, he had ended his life like this, which made his sister sad and grief.

Madam Lee’s husband recently passed away of cancer and she is also out of work. Now facing the sudden death of her younger brother, she is unable to deal with it. So she entrusted Da Ai to assist her in handling the funeral of her brother.

According to the death report issued by Police Station Jinjang, Mr. Lee Chee Kong passed away at 10 a.m. on May 21 due to chronic asthma attack.

We are handling the whole funeral process for Mr. Lee Chee Kong, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and scattered the ashes into the sea according to the wishes of the deceased’s sister. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for his funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers of Da Ai for more information. Thank you.

The late Mr. Lee Chee Kong’s remains are currently placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Park (Room G) for prayer service on 23rd May 2022 (Monday). The cremation will be held on 24th May 2022 (Tuesday), and the ashes will then be scattered into the sea.
