68-year-old Ms. Hon Choy Yin has been living in the nursing home in Petaling Jaya, Selangor for a long time. The staff of the nursing home said that Ms. Hon Choy Yin suffered from kidney disease for many years and had to go to the hospital for long-term treatment. Her lonely old age was spent in and out of the hospital, which made us deeply saddened. After being tormented by the disease for many years, she passed away at the University Malaya Medical Centre on May 13.
According to the death report issued by the hospital, Ms. Hon Choy Yin passed away at 3.00 am on 13th May 2022 due to Severe Sepsis.
Ms. Hon Choy Yin is a single lady, her only relative is her niece MS PANG. She is engaged in online trading and has an unstable income, so she is unable to handle unexpected funeral expenses of her aunt. The nursing home where Ms. Hon lived is a non-profit charity center. They usually rely on the enthusiastic donations of the public to take care of the helpless elderly, so they have no financial ability to pay for the funeral expenses. In desperation, the niece, MS PANG, entrusted Da Ai to help with her aunt’s funeral.
We are handling the whole funeral process for Ms. Hon, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for her funeral so she can rest in peace soon.

The late Ms. Hon Choy Yin’s remains are currently placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Kuala Lumpur (Room I ) for prayer service on 16th May 2022 (Monday). The cremation will be held on 17th May 2022 (Tuesday), and the ashes will be placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Tower.
