A 7-month-old baby boy who was born prematurely did not make it to survive his delicate life from some congenital deficiency conditions. His parents, who have been grief-stricken are now faced with funeral expenses which they could not afford. The baby was placed inside the oxygen tank while fighting the disease together with the medical team for a period of 9 days before leaving the world. The parents, who were supposed to happily welcome a newborn, are now drenched in sadness of losing their newborn.
The baby boy’s father, Than Soe (36), and mother, Aye Thi Tar (34), are both Burmese. The couple work in a grocery store in Ampang, Selangor. Drawing a meager income month-to-month, they are indeed unable to cope with such unexpected expenses. Therefore, they resort to seek help from Da-Ai.
According to baby mama’s expression, her baby was born prematurely on April 9 because she accidentally fell down during work. The premature baby then struggled to survive but did not make it despite going through 9 consecutive days of intensive medical care.
According to the hospital report, the baby boy lost his vital signs on April 18, at time 00:50. Cause of death was identified as Septiceamia and Necrotizing Fasciitis.
We are currently handling the entire funeral process that includes body claiming, Buddhist rituals, cremation and handling of ashes. We urge all enthusiastic individuals across the nation to chip-in your donations so our baby boy can rest in peace.
Those generous individuals who are keen to sponsor the funeral expenses may contact Da-Ai Crowdfunding Community for more details. We will be much obliged for your kindness.
A Buddhist transcendence ceremony will be carried-out for the baby boy on April 19 (Tuesday) at Gui Yuan Crematorium, Petaling Jaya, whereas the body will be cremated on April 20 (Wednesday). The ashes will be scattered into the sea as per the will of the parents. May our baby boy be embraced by our mother nature and his soul rest in peace.
