70-year-old Ms. Lau Meng Lian, who grew up in a non-Chinese family, passed away of illness. Case No. 1378 : 70-year-old Ms. Lau Meng Lian, who grew up in a non-Chinese family, passed away of illness. Since she has no relatives, the non-Chinese family, who was taken care by her since childhood, cannot afford the funeral expenses. Therefore, we earnestly request the help of everyone by donating for the funeral expenses of Ms. Lau Meng Lian.
Ms. Lau Meng Lian has been taking care of a non-Chinese family, and Ms. Lau has been taken care of by this family in her elder years. Unfortunately, Ms. Lau was seriously ill, and Adam, who had been taken care of by her since childhood, sent her to a nursing home so that she could receive better care. However, a few days after she was admitted to the nursing home, Ms. Lau passed away on March 17, which made Adam and his family grieve.
According to the death report issued by the Kapar Police Station in Klang, Selangor, Ms. Lau Meng Lian passed away at 5 a.m. on 17th March 2022 at the nursing home due to diabetes, high blood pressure, and stroke.
54-year-old Adam has been taken care of by Ms. Lau since he was a child and hoped to repay her hard work. He was busy with work and had an elderly mother at home, so he sent the sick Ms. Lau to the nursing home hoping to get better care, but unfortunately came the sad news of her passing.
As a school bus driver, Adam’s income is meager, and the two-year epidemic has affected his income, and he cannot afford the funeral expenses of Ms. Lau. In desperation, he contacted Da Ai and hoping Da Ai could help deal with Ms. Lau’s funeral.
What moved us was that Adam chose to let Ms. Lau Meng Lian revert to her origin by following the funeral etiquette of Chinese.
We are handling the whole process of Ms. Lau’s funeral, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. The late Ms. Lau Meng Lian’s remains are currently placed at Gui Yuan Funeral Crematorium Petaling Jaya Room 3 for prayers on 21st March 2022 (Monday), and the cremation will be held on 22nd March 2022 (Tuesday). The family of the deceased has prepared the columbarium.
