Elderly Chia Boon Hock, who lived alone, passed away at home and only been found after neighbors smelled the stench of decomposing remains. Case No. 1341 : Elderly Chia Boon Hock, who lived alone, passed away at home and only been found after neighbors smelled the stench of decomposing remains. Since there was no one to take care of his funeral, we handled the whole funeral process of Mr. Chia. Therefore, we earnestly request the help of everyone to donate for the funeral of Mr. Chia.
66-year-old Chia Boon Hock lived in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. On the night of January 23, his neighbor smelled a bad odor, so his neighbor immediately called the police. After the police and paramedics arrived at the scene, it was confirmed that Mr. Chia Boon Hock had passed away and his body had decomposed. He had to be sent to the hospital for an autopsy to verify the cause of death.
According to the death report issued by the Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Chia Boon Hock passed away at 3.30 pm on January 23, 2022. Since the remains had decomposed, the cause of death could not be determined.
After an investigation by the police, it was found that Mr. Chia Boon Hock had no family, so we are being entrusted to help with his funeral.
It was learned from the police that there had a lot of aid at Mr. Chia's home, and it is believed that he received the help of others to meet the needs of his life. Sadly, the Chinese New Year is approaching, but Mr. Chia Boon Hock tragically passed away before the new year.
Neighbour's said Mr. Chia Boon Hock had previously worked in a car factory but had retired five years ago. He rarely talks to his neighbors and rarely goes out, so the neighbors don’t know his family situation.
We are handling the whole funeral process of Mr. Chia, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. The late Mr. Chia Boon Hock’s remains are currently placed at Jishantang JinJang Kuala Lumpur (Room 6) for prayers on 26th January 2022 (Wednesday). The cremation will be held on 27th January 2022 (Thursday), and his ashes will be placed at Kepong Cemetery Tower Kuala Lumpur KA37 1F-17.
