Case No. 1340 : As the family is unable to cope with the unexpected funeral expenses, we earnestly request the help of everyone to generously donate to the funeral of Ms. Wong Yee Ling, a mentally handicapped person who unfortunately passed away after a fall at home.

59-year-old Wong Yee Ling is an OKU mental handicapped person. When she fell at home, only her elder brother who was also OKU was at home, and her brother didn't know how to ask for help. It was not until the night of January 18 (Tuesday) when the younger brother came home from getting off work that OKU’s elder brother vaguely stated that something had happened to Ms. Wong.

However, Ms. Wong was already black and stiff all over. The younger sister also came to check after being notified by her brother and called an ambulance immediately. When the ambulance arrived at the Kepong home, it was confirmed that Ms. Wong Yee Ling had passed away.

The younger sister would often come to visit them. The younger sister only got together with Ms. Wong the day before yesterday and promised to buy New Year's clothes for Ms. Wong, but unfortunately passed away when the Chinese New Year was approaching. The planned New Year's Eve reunion dinner lost their dearest sister, which made them very sad.

According to the death report issued by Police Station Desa Jaya, Ms. Wong Yee Ling passed away after a fall at home on 18th January 2022 at 8.00 pm. Ms. Wong Yee Ling is a mentally handicapped person whose parents have passed away. Her eldest brother is OKU mentally handicapped and does not have a job; her younger brother is a deliveryman, and the family relies on the younger brother's meager income. His brother doesn't have any savings, so he is unable to cope with his sister's funeral expenses. The younger sister is married and is a housewife. She needs to take care of her mother-in-law and children at her husband’s house on weekdays, and she is not able to cope with unexpected funeral expenses. In desperation, the younger siblings of Ms. Wong turned to Da Ai for help.

We are handling the whole process of Ms. Wong’s funeral, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for her funeral so she can rest in peace soon.
