Case No. 1233 : Donation for funeral service of elderly mother, Lim Ah Moy who passed away at home. We call upon everyone to donate for her funeral service.

Lim Ah Moy passed away suddenly at home due to heart and lung failure. Due to the difficulties of the children's lives and being unable to handle their mother's funeral, they asked us for help. We will handle the whole funeral service for Ms. Lim. Therefore, we hope everyone can help us by donating for Ms. Lim's funeral.

This 80-year-old mother has two single sons. The eldest son is a warehouse keeper with little income every month. The second son picks up bottles and cans on the street in exchange for money, earning only one or two hundred ringgits a month to make ends meet. The two brothers also had difficulty supporting their daily expenses. What's more, they didn't have any savings to handle the funeral for their mothers. Therefore, they sought our help and hoped that everyone could help them.

The eldest son told our social workers that he fed his mother dinner the night before his mother's death, and helped her massage her legs so that she could sleep better. Unexpectedly, after he went out to work the next day, he received a call from his younger brother and knew the sad news of his mother's death.

According to the dead report issued by the Department of Health and Environment DBKL, the 80-year-old Lim Ah Moy, who lived in government flat Kuala Lumpur, passed away at home due to heart and lung failure at 11.30 am on September 10 (Friday).

The late Ms. Lim’s remains are currently placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Kuala Lumpur (Room R) for prayers on 13th September 2021 (Monday). The cremation will be held on the next day, 14th September 2021, and her ashes will be scattered to the sea according to the wishes of her family.
