Case No. 1207 : Donation for the funeral service of Chan Kam Seng, an elderly who lived alone. We call upon everyone to donate to deal with Mr. Chan's funeral.
Mr. Chan Kam Seng lived alone in Kuala Lumpur. The tenant next door hadn't seen him step out of the room on the afternoon of August 21, so he went in to call him and found that he had fallen unconscious in the bedroom.
Since the elderly tenant next door didn't know how to call an ambulance, he asked passers-by for help. However, when the ambulance arrived, Mr. Chan had already passed away of heart and lung failure. As his family member was affected by the pandemic and was unable to deal with Mr. Chan's funeral across the state, we have been entrusted to handle the funeral for Mr. Chan. Therefore, we would like to ask everyone to donate for Mr. Chan’s funeral. According to the dead report issued by the Department of Health and Environment DBKL, the 65-year-old Mr. Chan Kam Seng passed away of heart and lung failure at 4.15 pm on August 21 (Saturday).
The tenant told us that Mr. Chan was engaged in decoration work before his death. It is only 4 months that Mr. Chan moved here. Originally, there was a tenant who was lived in the same room with him, and they worked together. However, he went back to Ipoh and never came back due to the pandemic. After the incident, we also contacted this friend, hoping to find Mr. Chan Kam Seng’s family members in Ipoh. With his help, Chan Kam Seng's sister was found, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was unable to cope with the fee of her brother’s funeral service. Therefore, she entrusted us to deal with the whole process of her brother’s funeral.
Under the entrustment of the family member of Mr. Chan, we are handling the funeral for the late Mr. Chan. We will handle the whole process of his funeral, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement. Therefore, we call upon everyone to donate for Mr. Chan’s funeral service.

The late Mr. Chan’s remains are currently placed at Jishantang Rawang for prayers on 23rd August 2021 (Monday). The cremation will be held on 24th August 2021 (Tuesday), and his ashes will be handed over to his family members according to his sister’s request to bring him back to Ipoh for placement.
