Mr. Chen Hin Ung, who lived alone, passed away at home due to the COVID-19 virus. As his family members have not been found, and the remains of COVID-19 cannot be kept for a long time, we are entrusted by the police to handle the funeral of Mr. Chen. Case No. 1193 : Mr. Chen Hin Ung, who lived alone, passed away at home due to the COVID-19 virus. As his family members have not been found, and the remains of COVID-19 cannot be kept for a long time, we are entrusted by the police to handle the funeral of Mr. Chen. Therefore, we would like to ask everyone to donate to deal with his funeral service.
It is another case of lonely death from the COVID-19 virus at home. 78-year-old Chen Hin Ung lives in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. The bad smell from his house alarmed the neighbors to call the police and found out that he had passed away due to the COVID-19 virus for a few days. The police then took the remains to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur for storage and looked for his family members. However, the police and we were unable to find Mr. Chen's family members after searching for a week through all the methods. Since the remains of COVID-19 could not be kept for a long time, the police entrusted DaAi to help deal with the funeral of Mr. Chen.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cumulative death of more than 10,000 people across the country. The morgues of government hospitals were overloaded. Therefore, the family members of the deceased need to claim the remains, send them to cremation, following by handling the funeral as soon as possible. However, the hospital, the police, and our social workers will also help find the family members for the remains that have no family members or are abandoned by their family members. After trying all the methods, we still couldn't find relatives, so the police entrusted us to handle the funeral of the late Mr. Chen Hin Ung.
According to the death report from the hospital, Mr. Chen passed away at home on July 31 (12.10 pm) due to COVID-19.
Since this is a case of death due to the COVID-19 virus, we had to send the remains to be cremated immediately before any processes of the funeral. We must strictly abide by the SOP given by the Ministry of Health (KKM) to handle the whole process of his funeral, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement.

The late Mr. Chen’s ashes are currently placed at Jishantang Rawang strictly following the SOP for prayers on 11th August 2021 (Wednesday). He will be rested in Kepong Cemetery Tower Kuala Lumpur KA37/2F-18 on 12th August 2021.
