Case No. 1185 : A sister was unable to contact her brother. With our help, she found that her brother had passed away due to COVID-19, and his remains were in the hospital. However, she was injured in a car accident and was unable to cope with her brother's funeral expenses. Therefore, we call upon everyone to help her to deal with her brother's funeral service.

The sister, Ms. Leow Kim Eng, who was injured in the car accident, was unable to contact her brother for a long time, and because she was not good at Malay and English, she didn’t hear clearly which hospital called to inform her. Therefore, she called DaAi and seek for our help.

Finally, with our efforts, through the hospital and the police, we found that the remains of her brother, who had passed away due to the COVID-19 virus, had been in the hospital for many days. His sister asked us for help and entrusted us to help with her brother's funeral.

The process of Ms. Leow finding her brother made us sad because the brother did not contact his sister after he was away from the family. Ms. Leow was worried about her brother’s condition and was asking around.

Unfortunately, she had a car accident and needed treatment in the hospital. She also needed to be quarantined during the treatment in the hospital, and she needed to wear a quarantined bracelet, so it was even more difficult for her to find her brother. When she finally found her brother with our help, her brother has already passed away due to the COVID-19 virus in the hospital. So we can only do our best to help Ms. Leow to handle her brother's funeral. According to the dead report issued by the Hospital Kuala Lumpur, the 58-year-old Mr. Leow Kim Choon passed away due to COVID-19 virus in the hospital at 2.35 pm on July 29.

Under the entrustment of his sister, Ms. Leow Kim Eng, we are handling the funeral for the late Mr. Leow. Since the remains of COVID-19 were not allowed to be kept for long, we had to send the remains to be cremated immediately before any processes of the funeral. We must strictly abide by the SOP given by the Ministry of Health (KKM) to handle the whole process of his funeral, which included body transfer, cremation, memorial service, and ashes placement.

The late Mr. Leow’s ashes are currently placed at Jishantang Jinjang Kuala Lumpur strictly following the SOP for prayers on 6th August 2021 (Friday). He will be rested in Kepong Cemetery Tower Kuala Lumpur KA37/2F-17 on 7th August 2021 (Saturday).

If anyone is interested in donation for the whole funeral service or go to worship, kindly contact us for more information. Thank you.

The deceased’s sister, Leow Kim Eng, was a hawker. She must recuperate because of a car accident. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all patients admitted to the hospital for treatment need to be quarantined for 14 days, and she will only be free until August 4. The first thing she wanted to do after the quarantined was to attend the funeral of her brother. This situation makes us sad.

We call upon everyone to donate for Mr. Leow’s funeral service. We would also like to remind everyone to strictly abide by the SOP during this COVID-19 pandemic as the COVID-19 pandemic situation continues to worsen. The number of confirmed cases in a single day has reached 20,000. The cumulative number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 1 million, and it is sprinting towards 1.2 million. We have been entrusted to handle 13 deaths from this disease. Take care and stay safe.
