Case No. 1132: Donation for the Funeral Service of 73-Year-Old Mr. Yap Chee Meng.
Old Mr. Yap Chee Meng who suffered from high cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood sugar had bad appetite and peacefully passed at home yesterday morning. His brother is unable to finance the funeral service, hence we urge everyone to donate for it.
The younger brother of the deceased, 66-year-old Yap Chee Yen is a retiree with no income. He and his brother live in a Housing Development Board Flat in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur while their niece who lives in Singapore remit money to them every month. However, the amount of money given by their niece is unable to finance Mr. Yap Chee Meng’s funeral service. Hence, Mr. Yap Chee Yen decided to entrust us to fully manage the entire funeral service of his brother and collect funds all across Malaysia for it.
Late Mr. Yap Chee Ming broke his left thigh on the stairs of his residence last September and underwent a rod surgery. He was able to walk but had sequelae after the fall. He developed bad appetite a few days ago and was unable to take any drinks or fruits prepared by his brother. A day before his passing (23rd June 2021, Wednesday), his muscles were sore and needed his brother to put him to bed. However, when the younger Mr. Yap went to the room to wake his brother at 8 A.M. the next morning (24th June 2021, Thursday), the latter was not breathing anymore. The medical stuff certified that he has passed when they arrived upon Mr. Yap Chee Yen’s call.
According to the death certificate issued by Kepong Police Station, Mr. Yap Chee Meng passed in his home at 8.50 A.M., 24th June 2021 (Thursday).

A prayer for late Mr. Yap will be held in the No. 6 Room of Jinjang Funeral Parlour today (25th June 2021, Friday) and sent to Chinese Cemetery Kepong for cremation at 10 A.M. the next day (26th June 2021, Saturday). He will be rested in Chinese Cemetery Kepong as well.
