Case No. 1101: Donation for the Funeral Service of Late Lung Cancer Patient Mr. Chong Kong How.
35-year-old Chong Kong How passed away at home due to stage IV lung cancer. His family is devastated and unable to pay for his funeral service expenses in such short period of time. Hence, we urge everyone to donate and help.
We have been entrusted by Kong How’s brother, Mr. Chong Kong Hon to fully manage Kong How’s entire funeral service, including prayer, cremation and ash interment. We call upon everyone to help and donate.
Chong Kong Hon said that his brother was diagnosed as having lung cancer for many years. He found that Kong How was unresponsive about 1 P.M., 25th May 2021 (Tuesday) and decided to call an ambulance. The medical staff confirmed that he has passed upon arriving at their house.
According to the death certificate issued by Balai Polis Desa Jaya Selangor, Mr. Chong Kong How passed at 3.20 P.M., 25th May 2021, with the cause of death being stage IV lung cancer.
The tragic news stunned Mr. Chong Kong Hon and his family. In addition to the tragedy, they cannot afford to pay Kong How’s funeral service expenses. Kong Hon has an elderly father while his mother has passed. He is working in a hawker stall but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and his brother’s treatment expenses, he has used up his savings and unable to raise the necessary funeral expenses in just a few days. Hence, he hopes that everyone can donate for his brother’s funeral service.

A prayer for late Mr. Chong Kong How is held at Gui Yuan Crematorium Petaling Jaya today’s morning (27th May 2021, Trusday ). His remains will be sent for cremation the next day (28th May 2021, Friday ) and rested at Kwong Tong Cemetery.
